- Rafael Rea
I was born in Santa Barbara, but by the age of one, my Mom, my Dad, and my older sister moved to Chicago, Illinois. I grew up in Chicago until I was 12 years old. My mom and Dad separated, so we were forced to move away. We moved back to California. But not the sunny side of Santa Barbara anymore, we moved to the beautiful side of South Central, Los Angeles. Our life took a 360 Degree turn. My Goals were to always retire my mom. Si in School, I always wanted to be a lawyer because I saw that Lawyers were on top of the food chain, like Doctors. I played wide receiver and strong safety for my High School team-always been very competitive. I realized that sports were not going to get me paid. I then attended Loyola's Law School Program but soon again realized Law was not for me-loved it, and did great but it wasn't a passion. I then traveled. Moved to New York where I wanted to explore Business in Wall Street. Lived in NY for about 4 years until I saw it was time to come back to LA. Got into business with telecommunications: started with AT&T, then Spectrum, and finally opened a Market with Frontier Communications and AT&T. I believe in giving back to others and extending a hand. So here, at R.E.A Capital Partners, we Build from the ground up, where Rafael Empowers his Associates.

I was born and raised in the Philippines and I'm the eldest out of 4 siblings. Went to an all-girls Catholic school from high school to college and have a degree in Communication. I started working at 18 for a graveyard shift in a call center company. In 2008 my family migrated to LA and tried it out for a couple of months, but moved to Vegas with my aunt. After unsuccessfully finding a job, I decided to go back to LA and stay with my grandma. I have a background in sales and marketing more towards the fashion industry. After being a stay-at-home mom for 2 years, I was set to take up law fall of last year, but adversity came. Stumbling upon this opportunity, I was honestly skeptical at first. But being a single mom without any other support system, I know I had to give it the benefit of the doubt to ensure professional growth and secure long-term success.
